As a summer event, this outing will be a general nature walk exploring local birds, butterflies, trees and wildflowers. We will hike around the dam and bridge areas as well as part of the West Penn Trail experiencing beautiful views of old RR tunnels and the Conemaugh River. The trails are fairly flat and in good condition. As a day-use area, it contains plenty of parking and convenience facilities.
