Description: Although taxonomically a shorebird, the American Woodcock lives in forests and scrub fields across Pennsylvania. Known for the male’s amazing aerial displays, their sky dances are used to attract females. The Morosini Reserve is a 183 acre former farm, with appropriate woodcock habitat that consistently has yielded good results in the past. Join us on this mini-outing to enjoy this annual early-spring spectacle! Please bring a flashlight and prepare for cold conditions, as we’ll be finishing our walk after the sun has set.
