Meet at 8:30am at Ackerman’s House in New Alexandria, PA

Leader: Ken Byerly & Margaret Ackerman, margd7@aol.com

Directions: 2523 PA-981, New Alexandria, PA 15670. From Route 22 in New Alexandria, turn north onto Route 981 and continue for 1 mile. Turn right onto the driveway immediately after Guthrie Rd. Continue down the long driveway to the house.

Description: Long-time WBNC members Margaret and Bob Ackerman have graciously extended an offer to host a club outing on their beautiful 130-acre property near the Loyalhanna Dam Recreation Area. With a forested stream and small pond to help to draw in a wide variety of forest birds, we will hopefully have a great experience with the wave of migrating warblers at its peak for the season. Nearly everywhere is a great place to bird this time of year, and we are thankful to Margaret and Bob for the invitation!
